Semester Final Exam Part 2 and 3

PRESIDENT OBAMA HAVING AN AFFAIR?!
President Obama is accused of having an affair. As you can see in the picture he's about to kiss Stacy, the governor, but she's getting mad due to the fact that he is MARRIED!

NEW DISH AT AN ASIAN RESTAURANT?!
Sumting Wong, Shown in the picture above, tried a new dish at a local asian restaurant Called Vewyy Hawt Stufff and it was so hot, he ran out of the restaurant on fire. :(

TONY MONTANA TOLD HIM NOT TO *EXPLETIVE DELETED* WITH HIM
Frank Sosa, Shown in the picture above, tried to explode a car  with kids inside of it and Tony did not agree with his decision so he killed him.

PART 3

Rule of thirds, i imagine this picture divided into nines and the girl in the picture is placed along the guidelines/intersection. The lower bottom right guidelines if i am not mistaking. Maybe kind of the middle, focusing the picture for a great shot.

Repetition, In this picture repetition is used a lot showing many of the same bikers next to each other. reason i say its repetitive is because there is not just 1 or 2 bikers but many! They're all bundled up repeating each other.

Framing, this picture shows framing by focusing the attention on the runners racing. They stand out and you know what you're looking at, its focused.

Rule Of Thirds, I can visualize the nine guidelines set up and the clock is focused towards the middle squares balancing and focusing the shot. The left and right guidelines were maybe cropped out and not used.

Three Pillars Of Photography

Aperture
Setting F2.8

Setting F16

#1) The Eyes could be the closest to relate to aperture because they're like the front camera lens, everything we see. (The Pupil)
#2)F-Stop means a larger aperture, while a larger f-stop means a smaller aperture.
#3) It plays an important role because aperture is the sharpness of the pic that stands out to the eye.

Shutter Speed
High Shutter Speed
Slow Shutter Speed

ISO
#1.It would be better to shoot with a higher ISO setting at a football game because its more zoomed in and focused/detailed.
#2/3. The lower the ISO number, The less sensitive to the light and a higher ISO number increases the sensitivity.

Aperture & Shutter Speed
F4-
F5.6-
F8-
F11-
F16-
F22-

After i looked at all of them i thought f11 was the best.

Self Portrait And Portraits

Tip #1: Get Closer

The most common mistake made by photographers is that they are not physically close enough to their subjects. In some cases this means that the center of interest—the subject—is just a speck, too small to have any impact

Tip #2: Try Standing By a Corner

As an alternative to standing in the middle of nowhere, you might want to actually use a building or wall in your shot. In this circumstance your first instinct is to focus on the wall, but that might not work too well depending on your depth-of-field.

Tip #3: Capture You

My last tip is to use the images below only loosely as inspiration. A self-portrait should be a very personal expression, not simply a mirror of something you've seen elsewhere. Think about who you want to be and how you want to say that. Use props, scenery, pose and lighting conditions to convey your personality
Environmental Portrait
I like this photo because it shows a nice, very focused black and white picture of this old man here, i picked it because this photo is great quality and it says 1,000 words.
I like this picture because it shows this man in his big cranberry field and its not only focused on him but the field and the sunrise. I Picked it because its my favorite one, very detailed.
Casual Portrait
I chose this picture because it shows this pretty woman smiling, you can see all her features, very detailed and good quality picture, reason i chose it.

I Chose this picture because i think its funny and who knows what this kid is doing. I like it because of the facial expression he is making, i can only imagine what he's up to and who he's throwing that rock at.

Formal Portrait
I Chose this picture because i like babies and this a good picture of one, he seems to be laughing or starting to laugh. I like it because he just looks happy and its very detailed.

This picture made me laugh haha its some goofy guy with his cat that looks like he hates his life. I like it because no one knows the story behind this pic, he's just some happy creepy guy with a cat.
Photography Self Portrait
I chose this pic because i personally like superman and he's one of my favorite super heros. I like how the rest of the photo is black and white except his suit.

I like this picture because i can tell this man loves photograph and does it professionally. His eye is like the lens of a camera, he sees it all.

For my portrait assignment I'm thinking of shooting a picture of myself. I want to take it in the gymnasium because its has the most space and colors. To make this successful ill make sure i have it set to the rights setting and i apply the rules & elements properly.

5 Mural Pixx

Academic photo shoot reflection

1. It was kind of tricky because i never knew the elements of photos before this class but it makes sense now and it helps so i feel like it will be easier to take better pictures now. Difficult matching each photo to every individual element.

2. Everytime i took a picture i had to make sure it matched the element i was on which was pretty difficult.

3. Go outside, explore the school and take the best pics i can.

4.Apply the elements I've been using because i like the way the pictures come out.

5. Rule of thirds.

6.Avoiding mergers will probably the hardest element to capture.

7. Avoiding mergers is what I'm most confused about.

Academics Shoot

Balance
i followed the rule by focusing on the reference sign and balancing it out to stand out in this picture. The subject in this photo is a reference sign in the library. Its clear what people are looking at especially because  its focused. I could of took other pics around the library.

Simplicity
I think i followed it good because this is a nice simple picture. The subject is a reflective camera and my friend josh and i are in the reflection. I think its clear what you're looking at and i could've found better spots around the gym.

Rule Of Thirds
I followed this rule good by focusing in on the fountain and using the rule of thirds to help make it stand out. The subject id very clear.

Framing
I followed this rule i think, its the boys basketball court inside the gym, its clear and you can tell why i chose this element.

Lines
I Followed this rule good and this is a personal favorite of mine. It shows a good example for lines and you know exactly what you're seeing.

Lines/Avoiding Mergers
I was kind of iffy about this picture but i like it, its the top of the library and i believe it's a good example for this element. I could of re read that avoiding mergers meant to help have a better picture.

My Superhero

I am a superhero and my special powers are to fly, turn myself invisble and have x ray vision. My name is Invisiboy. When I'm not invisible I'm wearing bape camp clothing!!

Academic Shoot Preview

The Story
This Visually tells a story because it shows students driving a teacher crazy and that's normally what we do. He's mad but thats what students do so oh well.
Action and Emotion
I think this photo is best for action and emotion because it shows a group of people working on a project, smiling. They seem to be having a good time and they're all contributing.
Fills The Frame
I selected this particular photo because its interesting what these men are working on, it looks like some thing out of the sky but it's just the smoke and flame color. Very good shot, fills the photo with the smoke/what they are working on.

Academics and Community Service
Reason i picked this photo is because its the one that stood out to me, its a good picture from the top view showing everything he's doing and his surroundings. Black and white finished it off as well. I believe the photographer used guidelines to help balance this photo out.Rule of Thirds,Balance, Cropping.
1. Everywhere pretty much, art surrounds us.
2.I would live to visit my World History teacher and take photos in his class.
3.Make sure i focus on my pictures and just don't whatever them, apply at least 2 out of 10 rules of photography.

Photo Shoot Reflection

http://yungsnow.blogspot.com/2013/10/national-g-favorite-photo.html

I like this photo josh posted for the National G Favorite Photo, it shows a land filled with ice and snow, the colors compliment the picture.

I also like the photo he posted for avoiding mergers 9/11, its a clear shot of destruction and the federal department helping out.

One thing he could improve on his write longer sentences for his photos.

National Geographic Warm-Up

This Was my favorite photo out of the other 44 photos i've seen. I like how it shows what the eye is looking at and the actual puple up close. Its very interesting to look at and its a great shot.

I Live in Austin, Texas and Im surrounded by tall buildings and a lot of music festivals so i would take a picture of a music fest downtown on 6th street or Guadalupe In front of the capital or somewhere on the street.

Rule Of Thirds 9/11

I Think this picture would be a good example for Rule of thirds because i imagine this photo being divided into thirds and the cross would be balanced on the lower right point.

Balance 9/11

I Think this can be a good a photo for balance and the shapes that make it stick out out are rectangles.
